Lissie Partain

Mrs. Lissie Marie Scott Partain, age 96, of Hampton, passed away October 19, 2026. Lissie was born in Smithville, GA, daughter of the late Ernest Scott and the late Agnes Smith Scott. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and flower gardening. Lissie was a long-time member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Hampton.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Lincoln Partain, her son, Nolan Terry Partain, and her granddaughter, Melissa Prince.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Marie and Bill Asbury; granddaughters: Wendy Powell, Teresa Pritchett and Ashleigh Asbury; two sisters: Elizabeth Ivey and Roxie Brady; many great and great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Liberty Hill Baptist Church, 2957 Mt. Carmel Road, Hampton. Pastor Don McMurray will officiate. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the church.
