Margaret Bond

Mrs. Margaret Elyse Williams Bond, age 90, of Concord, passed away September 27, 2023, at her home.  She was born in Gordon, AL, daughter of the late John Ward Williams and Mildred Rebecca Cartier Williams.  Mrs. Bond worked for the DeKalb County Juvenile Courts for 17 years. For over 35 years, she had been a member of Concord Methodist Church.  Mrs. Bond was a member of the Eastern Star and Worthy Matron numerous times.  She and her husband, Dan, enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling together. They were also members of a masonic camping club, National Camping Travelers (NCT).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Germain.

She is survived by her husband of 73 years:  Dan Bond; daughter: Alicia Pastiran (George); son-in-law: Matt Germain; grandchildren:  Sheena Alyse McNeely (David), Daniel Haskin "Hack" Lehman (Charisse), and Seth Germain; great-grandchildren:  John Daniel, Keagan, Kyla, Kenley, Lily Jo, Kai, and Kenna; sisters: Sara Dean, Janie Huggins and Rebecca Williams; many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.  Friends may visit the family on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the funeral home.
