Margaret Lenhart

Mrs. Margaret Bottoms Lenhart, age 74, of Barnesville, passed away April 30, 2024, at Eternal Hope Hospice.  She was born December 8, 1949, daughter of the late Floyd and Julie Bottoms. For many years, Margaret was the office manager at her husband's business, Jones Transmission in Griffin. She also worked for Spalding County DFACS as an Adult Care Coordinator for over 15 years. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church in Zebulon and enjoyed fishing, crafts and collecting Madame Alexander Dolls. Margaret was also a homemaker who raised four children.

She was the caregiver to her late uncle J. P. Jennings. She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Gordy Lee.

She is survived by her husband: Tommy Lenhart; children: Michael Wall, Sr. (Cindy), Timmy Wall (Lisa), Stevie Wall (Rebecca), Thomas Lenhart III (April), Michael Lenhart (Megah) and Angela Lenhart; grandchildren: Michael Wall, Jr., Corey Wall, Casey Wall, Thomas Lenhart IV, Braelyn Lenhart, Haylie Ross, Carlie Ross and Brittany Ross; sister: Jerri Jones; and several great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Dix and Pastor Al Shackelford officiating.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the funeral home.
