Maria Rios-Rodriquez

Ms. Maria Dolores Rios-Rodriquez, age 67, of Griffin, passed away March 14, 2025, at her home. Maria was born in Puerto Rico and spent her childhood there. As a young adult, she moved to New York where she lived for many years before moving to Georgia.  She had lived in Griffin for the last 25 years.  Maria was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and tending to her plants.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irma Torres, PaPa Joe, and Manuel Rios Sr. and sister, Wanda Rodriquez.

She is survived by her children: Michael Pagan, Madelyn Pagan, and Victor Nunez; grandchildren: Michael Ezequiel, Lea, Linoshka, Destiny, Mathew, Elijah and Genesis; two great-grandchildren; a brother and sisters: Manuel Rios, Hilda Lawton, Zeny Torres (Sammy), and Margie Rios; many nieces and nephews.

A family service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, 2:00 p.m., in Moody Memorial Gardens at Maria's mother's gravesite (Irma Torres).  A family gathering will follow at the Torres Residence.
