Marie "Doll" Turner

Marie "Doll" Turner, age 91, of Forest Park, passed away September 2, 2023, at her home.  She grew up in the Atlanta area, daughter of the late Roosevelt and Mary Turner.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing, flowers, and working in her yard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Allen West, sons, Jessie West and Roger West, and brother Gene Turner.

She is survived by her children: Rose Turner, Ronny West, Patricia West (Frank Hammett), Ralph West and Bobby West (Dedious); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special niece: Janice Gallman.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor John Sims officiating.  Burial will follow in Moody Memorial Gardens in Zebulon.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the funeral home.
