Mr. William Mark Ralston, age 58, of Concord, GA, passed away October 13, 2022, at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mark was born on December 9, 1963, in Griffin, GA, son of the late Eugene Howard Ralston, and Jean Williams Ralston. He was a graduate of Pike County High School class of 1982. He attended Tennessee Tech University on a full football scholarship. Mark was a wise, real, salt of the earth man with a keen sense of humor. A great storyteller, woodworking craftsman, stone builder, deep thinker and conversationalist, philosopher, an everybody stop and watch dancer, an excellent hugger, and life was an adventure believer. He loved his family, rocks, all things nature, sharing his thoughts and knowledge, sports, and spending time on the river. He was retired from Bandag with over 30 years of employment. A former Little League Baseball coach who taught boys about life through baseball. A beloved son, husband, father, grandfather (Pop), and brother. Like always, Mark left the party early. Go Dawgs!
Mark was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Clarence Eugene Williams, Sr., Evelyn Sutton Williams, Estes Homer Ralston, Irma Berthel Burtz Ralston.
Survivors include his mother; wife of 36 years, Gina White Ralston of Concord; daughter, Ally Ralston of Griffin; son, Colby Ralston of Molena; granddaughter, Caroline Ralston; sister, Alecia Ralston (Tammy Capps) of Waynesville, NC.
Friends may visit the family on Monday, October 17, 2022, from 5-8 PM, at the funeral home.
