Michael Elder Daniel

Michael Elder (Mike D) Daniel, age 33, of Thomaston, passed away October 31, 2021.  Michael grew up in Thomaston and graduated from Upson- Lee High School.  He was a knife maker and owned his own company, Elder's Knife Works, where he crafted custom chef knives and kitchen knives. Michael was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church.  He enjoyed riding his BMX bike and playing the banjo.

He was preceded in death by his father, Doug Holloway.

He is survived by his mother: Lisa Daniel Quinton (Joe) of Thomaston; sisters and a brother: Ashlee Quinton, Jonathan Holloway and Jennifer Holloway; nephew: Reid Quinton-McChargue; grandparents: Linda Daniel and Travis Elder Daniel both of Thomaston; uncle: Jay Byars (Jesse); numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, November 7, 2021, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
