Michael Kendall

Mr. Robert Michael Kendall, age 56, of Molena, passed away September 13, 2023.  He grew up in Pike County, son of the late Tommy Kendall and Bobbie Alexander Kendall.  Michael worked in the construction business, remodeling houses.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, and canoeing. He loved all types of music, especially bluegrass, and played the bass guitar in several local bands.  Michael had a heart for helping others.  He loved his family and his boys were his pride and joy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Lynch and brother, Tony "Squeaky" Kendall.

He is survived by his wife:  Juanita Young Kendall; sons: Shane Kendall (Anna) and Blake Kendall (Jennifer); grandsons:  Flynn and Elliot; sister: Serena Kendall; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Johnny and Janice Young; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Rev. James D. Wilson officiating.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the funeral home.
