Michael Lummus

Mr. Timothy Michael Lummus, age 54, of Savannah, passed away July 26, 2023.  He grew up in Porterdale, GA. He worked for Dundee Mills and The William Carter Company in Griffin for many years.  Michael enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janie Byrd Lummus and his grandparents, Robert A. Lummus, Sr. and Helen Johnson Lummus of Porterdale, Rachel and John Byrd of Monticello, and Lee and Jessie Chadwick of Griffin.

He is survived by his father and step-mother: Robert A. Lummus, Jr. and Juanita Lummus of Meansville; children: Miranda Nicole Lummus, and Camron Jase Lummus both of Griffin; grandchildren: Jayci Nicole Chitwood, Kylie Jade Chitwood, and Charlee Briar Leake; brothers and a sister: Joshua Lee Hardy, Timothy Leon Hardy, Andrew Scott Lummus all of Meansville, Brandon Lummus Griffin, Jeffrey Lummus of Madison, and Kasey Lummus Perkins Pittsburg, PA; aunt: Bonnie Frusco of McKinney, TX; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, August 1, at 11 a.m., at Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.
