Patrick King

Mr. Patrick Thomas King, age 64, of Williamson, passed away September 17, 2024.  Patrick was born on February 14, 1960, in Long Branch, New Jersey, son of the late Thomas and Catherine "Kay" King.  Patrick met the love of his life, wife Donna in high school. Patrick was a military veteran who served from 1980 to 1985 in the United States Army. He lived all over the country, settling in Georgia in 2010. Patrick was currently working at Universal Environmental Services (UES) in Peachtree City as a Transportation Manager. A job that he poured his heart and soul into and has had held since 2013.

He was a gifted artist who was talented in painting oil landscapes.  He enjoyed farming, genealogy, taking his dogs for a ride in the gator, playing games on his phone, and driving tractors.

He is survived by his wife:  Donna (Lopes) King; daughter:  Amanda Ford; grandson: Fayt Ford; sister: Debra Lydakis (Michael); aunt: Gloria White;  and uncle: John King; along with nieces.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, September 19, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and again on Friday, September 20, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  A funeral service will follow on Friday at 7 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.
