Patrick "Pat" Patten

Mr. Patrick "Pat" Allen Patten, age 82, of Milner, passed away April 9, 2022, at Brightmoor Hospice after an illness.  He grew up in Miami, Florida and San Antonio, Texas, son of the late Clarence Patten and Adaline Rockwell Patten. Mr. Patten was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Germany. After being honorably discharged from the military, he worked as an electrician for Houston Lighting and Power, in the sales department at Matco Tools and heating and air conditioning for Hammond Services. Mr. Patten was a member of the Pike County Church of Christ and the American Legion Post #197, both in Zebulon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Ann Boudreaux Patten.

He is survived by his children: Jason Patten and Melissa Patten both of Milner; brother and sister-in-law: Sam and Ruth Patten of Chattanooga, TN; sister: Ella Jane Mayes of North Carolina.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, April 15, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Simon officiating.
