Peter Peyton Larue

Mr. Peter Peyton LaRue, age 69, of Zebulon, passed away April 18, 2022, at his home. Peter was born in New Jersey on December 12, 1952. His father, Edward LaRue, was a career veteran. This gave Peter the opportunity to see much of the world when he was young. Like his dad, Peter enlisted in the military and served in the United States Army. He was a Master Carpenter and worked for Alex Tatum Construction in Griffin for over 30 years. Peter loved all animals, especially horses and had many of his own. He attended Eagles Way Church in Griffin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward LaRue and Margaret Townsend LaRue, sisters, Betty and June and his brother, Floyd.

He is survived by his wife: Kathleen LaRue; daughters: Misty LaRue and Danielle LaRue, niece: Kim and her husband Mike; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 21, at 4 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the funeral home, with Pastor Keith Wesley officiating.
