Mrs. Quincy Farrow Wilkerson, age 89, of Meansville, passed away January 26, 2024. She was born in Covington, daughter of the late Glover Farrow and Doris Kitchens Farrow. She grew up in Newton County and lived there until she and her husband moved to Henry County in 1964. She was the cafeteria manager at Henry County High School for many years before retiring. Mrs. Wilkerson moved to Meansville to be near her children and lived there for 25 years. She enjoyed cooking and made wonderful meals for her family. She was a strong woman and a good Mama. She loved every one of her grandchildren. Each one being her favorite.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Randolph Wilkerson, Sr., infant son, Raymond Wilkerson, Jr., sons, Barry Wilkerson and Dale Wilkerson, grandson, Michael Wilkerson, son-in-law, David Jackson, and brothers, Joel and Wayne Wilkerson.
She is survived by her children: Wayne Wilkerson, Karen Jackson, and Bobby Wilkerson (Terri) all of Meansville, daughter-in-law: Angie Wilkerson, sister: Cornelia Melton; 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; and her grand dog, Peter Parker.
A family celebration of life service for Mrs. Wilkerson will be held at a later date.
