Rebekah Dawn Hosch, age 26, of Meansville, passed away July 9, 2022. Rebekah grew up in Pike County and was homeschooled along with her four siblings. She loved the Lord and her church, Griffin Center Point, where she was active in ministries with children and youth. She always had a special place in her heart for children, especially her nieces and nephew. Rebekah was a nanny prior to becoming a paraprofessional at Moreland Road Elementary School. She adored her family and constantly bragged and doted over them. Her favorite things to do were watch movies with her Dad, Friday night dinners with friends, Sunday lunch with family, and most of all spending time with the people she loved.
Rebekah was preceded in death by N. L. Fenley (PawPaw) and Joseph Hosch (Grandpa Joe).
She is survived by her parents: John and Denise Hosch; brothers and sisters-in-law: Nathan and McKinney Hosch, John and Carly Hosch and Jeremiah and Morgan Hosch; sister: Betsy Hosch; nieces and a nephew: Skylar, Emma (EJ), and Easton Hosch and soon to arrive, Harper Jo Hosch; grandmothers: Joann Fenley and Shirley Nelms; numerous cousins, friends, and the love of her life: Davis James and his family.
Friends may visit the family on Monday, July 11, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Griffin Center Point Church, 1427 US 41, Griffin.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 12, at 11 a.m., at Griffin Center Point Church with Pastor Trey Powell and Pastor Michael Smith officiating. A family burial will follow in the Hoschton City Cemetery.
