Ricky "Andy" Ard

Ricky Andrew "Andy" Ard, age 39, of Thomaston, passed away November 22, 2022.

Andy was born on November 9, 1983, to Ricky Steve Ard and the late Tammy Eason Ard. Andy worked at Utility for more than 11 years. He was a lifelong resident of Thomaston.

Andy was a free spirit. He was known to spread happiness and make others smile. The joy of Andy's life was his two sons, Ajay and Andrew. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time on the river with his boys.

Along with his mother, Andy was preceded in death by his uncles: Mitchel Eason, Don Ard and Michael Ard.

He is survived by his beloved sons: Ajay Ard and Andrew Ard; father: Ricky Steve (Deborah) Ard of Thomaston; sister and brother-in-law: Amber and Chris Hopkins of Atlanta; former wife: Amanda Martin of Pine Mountain; former mother-in-law: Lisa Martin (Pat Jones) of Pine Mountain; former brother-in-law: Jeremy (Abby) Martin; aunts and uncles: Ronny and Debbie Ard, Becky and Dennis Watson, all of Thomaston, Alan Eason of Tampa; cousins: Jonathon (Elyse) Futch of Thomaston, Whitney (Mario) Andino of Senoia, Tiffany (Don) Gage of Charlotte, Tristan Eason of Tampa, best friends: Cody (Heather) Adams and Kevin Bunn, all of Thomaston.

A memorial service will be held in Andy's honor at a later date.
