Ricky Allen Cannon

Ricky Allen Cannon, age 58, of Covington, passed away October 18, 2022.

Ricky was born on April 3, 1964, to Jeanette Cannon and the late Charles Cannon. He grew up alongside one brother, Brad. Ricky was a truck driver for many years until he became a carpenter and remodeler. He was skilled at wood working and making wooden gifts. Ricky was an avid fan of NASCAR. He enjoyed spending time with friends and neighbors. Even though he was paralyzed for the past three years and endured a lengthy hospital stay, Ricky kept a positive attitude. Ricky will be remembered as a jokester with a happy spirit.

Ricky is survived by his mother: Jeanette Cannon of Jackson; daughters: Brittany Cannon (John Lee) of Florence, SC, Dawn Cannon of Covington, Ashley Cannon (Dalton Smith) of Monroe; grandchildren: Chad Dix Jr., Landon Dix, Devyn Dix, Paisley Dix, and Sharon Smith; brother and sister-in-law: Brad and Rachel Cannon of Williamson; niece and nephew: Jordon Thompson and Jacob Cannon, both of Williamson; dear friend: Tommy Bannister of Covington.

A memorial service will be held in Ricky's honor at a later date. The Cannon family is being assisted by Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.
