Robert Frank Barringer

Robert "Bob" Frank Barringer, age 71, of Williamson, passed away April 24, 2023.

Bob was born on November 30, 1951, to the late Carroll Barringer and the late Mary Manning Barringer. He grew up in Dekalb County alongside one brother. Bob was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He was a licensed heating and air specialist for more than 40 years. Bob was the owner and operator of Barringer Heating & Air. He went on to teach his technician skills at Southern Crescent Technical College and Savannah Technical College for several years.

Bob was friendly and could be a jokester. His nature was hard on the outside but soft underneath. He spoke his opinions and stood by his beliefs. Bob was a strong man who stood firm in his faith. Bob attended Believers Baptist Church in Griffin. He loved the Lord and was known to share the gospel everywhere he went. He taught Sunday school for many years. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bob will be remembered for his love for the Lord and his strong spirit.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Barringer of Williamson, brother, James Barringer of Oklahoma, and numerous stepchildren and grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 13th at Believers Baptist Church, 1724 High Falls Rd, Griffin. A luncheon will be held immediately following the service in the fellowship hall. The Barringer family is being assisted by Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.
