Roger Turner

Mr. Roger Dale Turner, age 66, of Manchester, passed away January 22, 2025.  Roger grew up in Meriwether County, son of the late Samuel Turner and Katie Lou Grambling Turner.  Roger was a self-employed painter who enjoyed fishing and watching the GA Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brothers, Sheryl Wilson and her husband Roger, Tommy Turner and Danny Turner.

He is survived by his daughters and a son-in-law: Chasity and Sherman Baker and Jamie Turner; son: Matthew Turner; grandchildren: Austin Baker, Hannah Baker, Madison Hughes and Ronnie Hughes, Jr.; sister and brother-in-law: Charlotte and Roy Walker; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Roger will be held at a later date.
