Ron Knudsen

Mr. Ronald "Ron" Edward Knudsen, age 64, of Williamson, passed away May 4, 2022, at his home.  He was born in Milwaukee and grew up in East Troy, Wisconsin. Ron worked as an aviation technician at Delta Airlines for 42 years. He and his family moved from Crystal Lake, Illinois to Williamson in 2009. He enjoyed woodworking, riding motorcycles, and rebuilding airplanes. In recent years, Ron helped restore the Douglas DC-7B that is now on display at the Delta Flight Museum in Atlanta. Ron also had a pilot's license and flew small aircraft.

He is survived by his wife: Cathy Knudsen; son: Eric Knudsen (Rebekah); daughter: Aubrey Dixon (Brian); grandchildren: Finn and Zoey Knudsen, and Hunter Dixon; parents: Ervin and Geraldine Knudsen; brother: Russell Knudsen (Brigid); nephews and nieces: Kyle, Taryn, Connor, Ryan and Clare Knudsen.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 10, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fincher Memorial Cemetery in Meansville.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the funeral home.
