Ronald "Fuzzy" Meade

Mr. Ronald Eugene "Fuzzy" Meade, age 76, of Williamson, passed away March 24, 2025.  Fuzzy was born in Birmingham, Alabama, son of the late Ollin Meade and Annie Worrell Meade.  He worked as a mechanic at Vulcan Materials in Griffin for many years.  Fuzzy enjoyed playing the drums and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Yarborough Meade, his sisters, Pat McManus and Nita Ann Chambers and his grandson, Hunter "Luke" Polnaszek.

He is survived by his daughters: Robyn Walker (Brandon), Shelley Meade (Andy) and Mandy Garner (Jason); grandchildren: Summer Smith (Zac), Emily Scott, Mason Scott, Zachary Garner (Kensley), Zeb Garner, and Zane Garner; a brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Eddie Yarbrough (Martha), Linder Dunn and Vivian Messer; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 2 p.m., in Providence First Baptist Church Cemetery, 361 Highway 362, Williamson, GA 30292. Pastor Amy Messer will officiate.
