Ronny Ferroll Sharp

Mr. Ronny Ferroll Sharp, age 68, of Hampton, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

Ronny was born on March 2, 1957, in Griffin, Georgia, and grew up in Lovejoy. After marrying his beloved wife, Angie, he made his home in Clayton, where he lived for many years while working as a concrete mason and in masonry construction, a trade in which he took great pride. He later returned to Hampton, where he resided until his passing.

He honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending fun times with friends. Ronny was known for his gift of storytelling—he had a way of captivating those around him, holding their attention with every detail. He was also a proud member of the Masonic Lodge #413 in Griffin.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Angie, whom he dearly missed; his father, Buford Dixon; mother, Carolyn Fields; and brothers, Randy Dixon and Mike Dixon.

He is survived by his brother, Bill Dixon (Patty); along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
