Roy Alonzo McCullough, 74, of Griffin passed away on May 31, 2022, at Brightmoor Hospice. Roy was a lifelong resident of Griffin and a member of First Baptist Church of Zebulon.
Roy was the proud owner of Professional Printing in Griffin for forty years. He was an avid baseball fan and had a knack for remembering player stats. He also enjoyed collecting baseball cards and sports memorabilia. His greatest joy in life was his family and he enjoyed every minute spent with them.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Margaret (Maggie) Smith, brother-in-law Danny Smith, and father-in-law Wayne Garner.
He is survived by his wife, Wadra McCullough; son Mark McCullough (Stephanie), daughter Macy Mosher (Cody), son Jacob McCullough (Lindsey); grandchildren Tanner McCullough (Haley), Eli McCullough, Hattie Mosher, and Tessa McCullough; sister Nina Smith; mother-in-law Sandy Blalock (Bobby); sisters-in-law Gaye Durden (Gaynor) and Tracy Kimbrell (Tommy); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 3, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home in Zebulon. Dr. Ed Hoard will officiate. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery in Zebulon.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Roy's memory to a charity of your choice that supports special needs children or to the Parkinson's Foundation.
