Royce Mobley

Mr. Royce Paul Mobley, age 82, of Thomaston, passed away July 2, 2024, at Upson Regional Medical Center.  He grew up in Danielsville, GA and at a young age started sharecropping.  Royce later worked in the floor covering business for 55 years.  He learned the trade from his Uncle Roy. Royce owned and operated SPA Floor Covering in Forest Park for over 15 years.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a huge GA Bulldog fan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Sue Mobley, former wife, Thelma Mobley, youngest daughter, Kellie, brothers and sisters, Leon, Charles, Alton, Linda, Dot, Hazel and Betty.

He is survived by his children: Royce Mobley (Dana) of Thomaston, Greg Mobley (Vickie) of Thomaston, and Cindy Holman (Barry) of Waco, GA; grandchildren: Crystal, Ryan, B. J. and Katie; several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

It was Royce's wish to be cremated and no services are planned.
