Ruby Jewel Helton

Ruby Jewell Helton, age 94, of Williamson, Georgia, formerly of Milner, Georgia, passed away on April 14th 2023 in her home.

Ruby was born in Moultrie, Georgia on December 25, 1928. Her parents, Clyde & Ora Helton, brothers J.R. & W.L. Helton, daughter Shirley Parton,and great granddaughter Kayla Blackwell all preceded her in death.

Ruby's hobbies included watching her great grandchildren play ball, enjoying traveling on trips with her family, watching her favorite morning talk shows, sitting on the back deck in the sunshine, talking about getting in the pool, (but not actually getting in), going out to eat with her daughter Martha and granddaughter Jordan, and shopping trips on Black Friday. She had a big heart and was always willing to help others. Her family was everything to her.

Survivors include daughter Martha Woods (husband James), grandchildren David Edwards (wife Leann), Jordan Chandler (husband Wes), Andy Parton (wife Sara), Kim Johnson (husband Walter), Christy Knight (husband Rickie Donelle) great grandchildren Cameron Edwards, Grant Edwards, Jaxon Chandler, Jagger Chandler, Jacob Chandler, Shane Parton, William Parton, Luke Parton, Anna Blackwell, Ava Blackwell, Madison Bignardi and extended family.
