Sarah Ellen Statham

Sarah Ellen Statham, age 64, of Meansville, passed away February 15, 2024, at Eternal Hope Hospice.

Sarah was born on December 1, 1959, in Griffin, daughter of the late Onree Jake Garner, Sr., and the late Martha Williams Garner. She enjoyed family cookouts and spending time with her grandchildren. Sarah was in management for Dollar General for many years and most recently the manager at Dollar General in Williamson. She was well known for her commitment to the "Williamson Mall".

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant sister, Amanda Lynn Garner; sisters, Mary Garner and Erma Coleman; brother, Jake Garner.

Survivors include her daughter, Angie Statham; son, Mark Statham; grandchildren, Cameron Haren and Gracie Statham; sisters, Martha Garner and Verna Jones; many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 11 AM, in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Brandon Foottit officiating.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday morning from 10-11, at the funeral home.
