Shone Clark

Mr. Brandy Shone Clark, age 53, of Griffin, passed away September 6, 2026, at Brightmoor Hospice. Shone grew up in the Griffin, Zebulon and Barnesville areas. For many years, he worked as a CDL driver for Quality Trucking in Barnesville. Shone was a member of the Griffin Moose Lodge. He never passed up an opportunity to sing karaoke or play a game of cornhole. He was a grill master who followed his own moto “low and slow.” Shone loved drinking Mountain Dew, watching NASCAR and his favorite driver, Jeff Gordon. WORD.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hollis Clark and his uncle, Claude Clark.

He is survived by his children: Raygan Clark (Joe Strickland) and Denver Chase Clark; bonus daughter: Abby Hernandez (Matthew Long); grandchildren: Verity, Jazz and Zoey; mother: Diane Clark; sister: Missy Wallace; nephew and niece: Lee Jefferies and Holly Brown; step-mother: Cheryl Clark.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home. Pastor Rob Thacker will officiate.
