Mr. Stephan "Stevie" R. Clark, age 65, of Thomaston, passed away February 15, 2022, at his home. He grew up in Thomaston, son of the late William Clark and Lura Ray Clark. Stevie worked at B. F. Goodrich-Martha Mills for 26 years. When the mill closed, he took a job at Sugar Hill Tree Farm in Barnesville, where he retired. He was a faithful member of Vega Community Church in Meansville. Stevie loved the Lord, his wife, children, grandchildren, his church, and his church family. He was a hard worker who enjoyed fishing, cooking, grilling and working on cars. He loved making people laugh and was fun to be around
Stevie's life changed when he accepted the Lord as his Savior in 2018. He became more humble and had such a sweet spirit.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Clark and Gary Clark.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years: Sheryl Arrington Clark; sons and daughters-in-law: Brian and Alyson Clark of Thomaston and Matthew and Kerrin Clark of Zebulon; grandchildren: Madison Clark, Kenneth Clark, Bentley Walker, McKenna Padgett, Addison Padgett, Kaiden Gasaway and Kalia Gasaway; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 22, at 12 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Horton and Pastor Mitchell Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Moody Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the funeral home.
