Susan Kent Cox

Susan Kent Cox, loving wife, caring momma, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, friend and her most prized title, granny, passed away in the early hours of August 16, 2022.

Susan was born December 20, 1957 in Griffin, Ga to the late Bub and Sadie Ruth Kent. She was raised in Griffin and made an impact in many lives in her careers at Nacom, The Girl Scouts and Innvision Hospitality. Susan loved to show her love to others with warm hospitality - always greeting you with a hug and leaving you just the same. She was very proud of her Cherokee heritage and loved to tell you about her time spent in the mountains of Cherokee, NC with her family. Most recently, she spent her days working in her garden and flower beds and always doting on all of her adored grandchildren.
