Susan Janson

Mrs. Susan Andrea Kerr Janson, age 81, of Zebulon, passed away June 3, 2022, at Brightmoor Hospice.  She was born in Queens, New York, daughter of the late Edwin Kerr and Virginia Kaufman Kerr. Her confirmation was held at St. John's Lutheran Church in College Point, NY.   Susan was a homemaker and a hairdresser. She lived in New York most of her life, and moved to Georgia in 2010 to be near her family. She enjoyed crafting, making wreaths, and collecting bears and ornaments. She loved country music, the oldies and Elvis. Susan was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, Andy, whom she cared for through a 20-year illness.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Joseph "Andy" Janson, her sister Linda and brother Edwin.

She is survived by her children and their spouses: Peter and Denise, Edward and Sandra, Suzanne, Andrea and Steven, and Betty and Chet; grandchildren: Douglas, Diana, Peter, Eddie, Natalie, Victoria, Amanda, Evan, Angelina, Ava and Carter; great-grandchildren: Colton, Penelope, Mark, Jace, Lincoln, Luke, Vinny, Trey, Riley and Hudson; brothers: Richard and wife Alice, and Ronald; sister: Judy; many nieces and nephews.

A family memorial service will be held.
