Sybil Jordan

Mrs. Sybil Buckner Jordan, age 82, of Thomaston, passed away February 23, 2022, at her home. She was born in Atlanta, daughter of the late Hugh Berry Buckner and Louise Donehoo Buckner. Mrs. Jordan was a registered nurse and worked in the healthcare field for 57 years. She spent most of her career in hospitals, nursing homes and hospices. She was an avid reader and a great cook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gerald Buckner and Hugh Grady Buckner and a nephew, Jimmy Buckner.

She is survived by her husband: Bennie Jordan; step-sons: Mark Anthony Jordan and Clifford Montgomery Jordan; grandchildren: Brad and Ashley; nephews: Jerry Buckner and Joey Buckner; special friends: Doris and Frankie Pruitt.

It was Mrs. Jordan's wish to be cremated and no services are planned.
