Mrs. Tammy Lynn Rawlins, age 57, of Zebulon passed away January 21, 2022. She grew up in Hapeville and attended Hapeville High School where she was a cheerleader. Her family moved to Griffin and she graduated from Griffin High School in 1982. She earned her radiologic technician certificate from Gordon College. Tammy worked for ASA, Piedmont, US Air and American Airlines as a flight attendant for 38 years. She was a part-time fashion model. She enjoyed world traveling, Caribbean cruises, trips to the beach, planting flowers, singing and cooking. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Zebulon where she loved singing in the choir. She also participated in the Choral Guild of Atlanta. Tammy was kindhearted and known for her bright and energetic personality.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Draughn.
She is survived by her husband: Keith Rawlins; children and their spouses: Zack Anderson of Covington, Sarah and Cody Gibbs of Winterville, Allen and Sarah Rawlins of Williamson and Bailey Rawlins of Zebulon; granddaughters: Laura and Brooklyn Rawlins; parents: Wanda and Richard Oneal of Sun City; sisters: Renee Draughn of Punta Gorda, Donna Oneal and husband Mike Brennan of Conyers; mother-in-law: Darlene Rawlins of Zebulon; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Glen and Kim Rawlins of Zebulon; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 23, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Dr. Ed Hoard officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery in Zebulon.
Friends may visit the family on Sunday, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the funeral home.
