Mr. Gordon Terry Deleshaw, age 64, of Williamson, passed away September 2, 2023, at Eternal Hope Hospice in Griffin.  Terry grew up in the College Park and Riverdale areas, son of the late Jack W. Deleshaw and Dorothy Royals Deleshaw. He worked in the landscaping and construction business for many years. Terry was a kind man, who loved the Lord, and enjoyed helping others, and spending time with family and friends.  He was a country music fan and especially liked Dwight Yoakam. He was also good at telling jokes and making people laugh. He loved yardwork and eating.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Cobb, brother-in-law, Charles Cobb, and a brother, Howard Deleshaw.

He is survived by his children: Kristina Holmes (Chad) and John Smith; grandchildren: Nick Roden, Joe Roden, Bethany Roden, Chloe Holmes and Riley Holmes; sister and caregiver: Gail Deleshaw; and brother: Jack Deleshaw (Melanie).

He is also survived by his very special nephews and niece: Jack III, Brian, Wes, Brad, Waylon, Clint, Clay and Dana; and his beloved dogs: Gucci, Stella and Murphy.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Moody officiating.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society
