Thomas Pershing Tyler Sr.

Thomas "Tommy" Pershing Tyler Sr., age 81, of Concord, passed away February 20, 2023.

Tommy grew up in Atlanta and was a son of the late Robert Tyler Sr. and Bessie Baker Tyler. Tommy was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and retiree who loved spending time with his wife and family, eating good food, taking care of his pet animals, and watching old Westerns. Never one for attention and spotlight, Tommy valued the peace and quiet of Concord. He was dearly loved and is deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Tyler, and Robert "Bob" Tyler Jr., and son-in-law, Brent Sullenberger.

He is survived by his wife: Betty Tyler; son: Tommy Tyler Jr.; daughters: Tammi Tyler Sullenberger, Kelly Tyler Huffman (Lee); and numerous grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and great-grandchildren.
