Tommy Griffith

Mr. Thomas "Tommy" Ray Griffith, age 61, of Griffin, passed away February 14, 2022.  He was born in Jonesboro, son of the late Clarence Griffith and Maggie Staples Griffith. Tommy was a truck driver for over 25 years, retiring as a safety director for the trucking industry.  For 15 years, he was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders and proudly ensured dignity and respect at memorial services honoring fallen military heroes, first responders and veterans.  He was a NASCAR fan, a Chevrolet man and a good mechanic. Tommy enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruby Legrand, Margie Baker and Amanda Bryant.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years: Vicky Griffith; children: Kasey Pike, Mindy Spence, Kasandra Boleman (Trip), Jason Pike (Gypsy), Keith Dutcher, and Thomas "T. J." Griffith (Brianna); grandchildren: Terry, Kelsey, Peyton, Parker, Dylan, Adilyn, Kayson, Kynlee, Bryson, Hunter and Kolton; great-grandson: Kyair; brothers: George Griffith (Marsha) and Carl Griffith (Lauren); many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, February 20, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the funeral home.

A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.
