Tony Sweatmon

Mr. Tony Eugene Sweatmon, age 64, of McDonough, passed away August 24, 2022, at his home. For most of his working life Tony was in the heating and air conditioning business. In his early years, he worked at Snapper Power Equipment in McDonough. Tony enjoyed fishing, and trips to St. George Island and Panama City Beach, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles William Sweatmon, Jr. and Sarah Elizabeth Abbott Sweatmon, and his brother Charles W. Sweatmon III.

He is survived by his son: Zach Sweatmon (Amanda Beam); best friend: Karen Cash; brother: Terry Sweatmon (Gloria); sister: Doreen Miller (Nick); nieces and nephews: Nick Miller (Michelle), Brian Miller (Angel), Scott Miller (Brittany), Terry Sweatmon, Jr. (Angela), Mark Sweatmon (Michelle), Tina Ray (Keith), Mandy Ayers (Kenny) and Jessica Linebaugh; aunt: Patricia Smith; cousins: Brenda Bailey (Jeff Blackford), Cheryl Farr (Wendell), Roxanne Henderson (Todd), Suzie Britt (Donnie Ray), Kim Smith Reindl, Kristie Kinsey.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, August 28, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.
