Vera Anne Kendrick

Ms. Vera Ann Kendrick, age 79, of Zebulon, passed away August 29, 2024.  Vera was born in Zebulon where she lived her entire life.  She was the daughter of the late Chester Kendrick and Lois Buchanan Kendrick. She worked as a housekeeper for many years and enjoyed playing cards and watching TV. Vera loved animals, especially her cats. She was a devout Christian.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Earlene Presley, Laverne Henderson and Joy Sharpe, her brother, Roy Kendrick and nephews, Darrell Presley, Mike Henderson and Tony Henderson.

She is survived by her nephews: Kent Presley (Debbie), Gene Sharpe and Ronnie Henderson; niece: Nancy Presley; great-nephew: Dylan Thomas Sharpe; many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the funeral home.
