Wade Janney

Mr. Jeffrey Wade Janney, Sr., age 53, of Concord, passed away December 17, 2022, at his home. Wade grew up in Concord and attended Flint River Academy in Woodbury, graduating in 1987.  He was a member of Concord Baptist Church. Wade owned and operated The Truck Stop in Sunny Side for 15 years and enjoyed working on show trucks. He liked the outdoors, fishing and deer hunting.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Fred Walker.

He is survived by his sons: Jeffrey Wade Janney, Jr. of San Diego and Walker Webber of Meansville; parents: Harold and Jerry Janney of Concord; sister and brother-in-law: Susan and Chuck Wilson of Zebulon; aunts, uncles, a niece and several nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Yearwood officiating.  Burial will follow in Moody Memorial Gardens.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the funeral home.
