Wayne Taylor

Mr. Edgar Wayne Taylor, age 71, of Thomaston, passed away December 25, 2021.  Wayne grew up in Thomaston, son of the late Edgar Taylor and Rosie Watson Jenkins. He was a "mill man," working for Martha Mills, Aldora Mills and Keadle Lumber.  When he was younger, he enjoyed softball and played in numerous leagues in Thomaston. He liked hunting, fishing and playing video games.

Wayne is survived by his children and their spouses: Jeff and Jeanine Taylor of Thomaston, Jessica and Dexter Garner of Meansville and Thomas Jerome (T. J.) Taylor of Macon; grandchildren: Hayley, Crystal, Logan, Dexter Jr., Jesse and Kaleb; great-grandchildren: Aiden and Hope; sister and brother-in-law: Gwen and J. R. McGaha of Perry; brothers and a sisters-in-law: Tony and Connie Taylor of Griffin and Pete and Linda Whittington of FL; several nieces and nephews.

A private family memorial service will be held.
