Wendell Caldwell

Mr. Wendell Kim Caldwell, age 61, of Barnesville, passed away January 28, 2025.  Wendell grew up in Thomaston, son of the late John McLease (J. M.) Caldwell and Martha Willene Pitts Caldwell.  For most of his working life, Wendell worked in the construction business.  He enjoyed coaching his children in baseball and softball and vacations to Panama City Beach and the mountains.

He is survived by his wife: Chasity Caldwell; children: Adam Word, Ashley Caldwell, Kris Guenther, Ridge Caldwell (Carley Rose), Megan Faulkner (Justin), Lyndsay Faulkner, Natalie Caldwell (Brandon), Dawson Caldwell (Kamryn), Harleigh Caldwell (Justin), Jillian Caldwell and Anslie Caldwell; grandchildren: Alya, Kyra, Draven, Ava, Audrey, Beacher, Khloie, Kimberlynn, Kameron, Sutton; brothers and a sister: Johnny Caldwell (Barbara), Vanessa Caldwell Brooks (Bill), and Brian Caldwell; numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the home of Vanessa Brooks, 5 East Moores Crossing Road, Thomaston.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, 2 p.m., at Salem Cemetery, which is located at the intersection of Rest Haven Road and Highway 36 in Barnesville.  Pastor Jacob Smith will officiate.
